Sirius is Back !!!

Sirius is Back

“SIRIUS!” Harry yelled. “SIRIUS!”

Harry’s breath was coming in searing gasps. Sirius must be just behind the curtain, he, Harry would pull him back out …

But as the sprinted towards the dais, Lupin grabbed Harry around the chest, holding him back.

“There’s nothing you can do, Harry -“

“Get him, save him, he’s only just gone through!”
“- it’s too late, Harry.”

“We can still reach him -” Harry struggled hard and viciously, but Lupin would not let go …

“There’s nothing you can do, Harry … nothing … he’s gone.”

Sirius is Back

Sirius woke with a start. He tried to get up but a searing pain shot through his chest where he remembered Bellatrix’s curse had hit him. Sirius remembered a jet of red light hitting him square in the chest.

“Probably stupefy” Sirius thought. “But where are the rest of them? Where’s the battle they were fighting?”

Sirius had fallen through the ancient dias without doubt. But yet here he was right next to the same archway.

“This is the room of death. And that is called the archway of death. No one fallen through the archway had never returned, thus spoken so, ‘the archway of death’ ” thought Sirius. “But how am I alive? Am I alive? Only if … Only if it wasn’t an archway of death at all …”

Sirius came out of the Department of Mysteries and got to the elevator to get back to the Atrium. He knew he had to see Dumbledore.

“Only he would have answers” Sirius thought.

Just as the elevator doors opened, the Atrium fell silent. Arthur Weasley came running towards him.

“Arthur what happened? Where’s the battl…”

“Lord Padfoot, did you get the owl I sent? Minister wants you in his office.”

Something was definitely not right. Sirius knew it.

“Lord Padfoot! For goodness sake! And the Minister wants to see me? Does it mean I would be returning to Azkaban? But doesn’t seem so, or they would never call me Lord!” Sirius thought.

“Arthur could you please repeat who wants to see me?”

“Minister of Magic my Lord. Lord Grindelwald of course”

Only then did Sirius completely understood that where he is now is not where he had come from. This was a different world. And to survive here he would have to play his part. For now he was Lord Padfoot.

Grindelwald was dressed in black suit, a malicious gleam in his eyes.

“Padfoot, come in. Dumbledore’s right hand man now aren’t ya. I’ve got some bad news for him. Riddle and his men somehow stopped the ‘giant raid’, North of London. My Auror’s report me that the Giants had a fight, just before the raid and the King had been replaced with a new King, Gaglar. He apparently had been receiving gifts from Riddles men.”

Grindelwald went on “But on a happier note, we have managed to capture Draco Malfoy. After Lucius died in the last battle, Riddle had him appointed him as a Leutenant, my Aurors inform. I thought you’d personally like to interrogate him after all, ‘Lord Padfoot’s interrogations are often Grim’ ”

Grindelwald told with his mouth curling into a smile.

“Yes indeed I should!” Sirius understood that he should do nothing but stick to the drama to survive. He would try and understand something in this interrogation.

“Arthur if you would escort Padfoot to the prisoner.”

“Yes my lord”

“For the greater good” Grindelwald said.

“For the greater good” Arthur chanted back.

“For the greater good” Sirius copied.

“I would be just outside if you need me mylord” Arthur closed the dungeon door with him.

Draco had shuddered at the sight of Sirius.

Sirius understood this much, Gellert Grindelwald was in charge of the ministry of magic and he had used his old slogan, ‘for the greater good’ which would mean, as the Minister of Magic, he was clearly working towards his old course. Clearly Sirius himself was in very good terms with Grindelwald which would mean, he was a bad guy too.

Grindelwald had called him Dumbledore’s right hand man, which he dreadfully understood meant that all powerful Albus Dumbledore was working beside Gellert Grindelwald. He shuddered while he thought about it. Grindelwald had mentioned about a Riddle who were fighting them back.
“Could it possibly be that Voldermort as Tom Riddle was the good guy?” Sirius thought. Sirius had to be sure and Draco would be able to give him some answers.

“You can kill me but I’ll not utter a single word.”

“Hey hey, not so fast boy. We don’t have much time. But let me tell you this, I’m not what you think. I’m no longer the Lord Padfoot as you call me. And I don’t believe in all this ‘for the greater good’ crap. Help me understand few things Draco.”

“Do I look like a joke Black? You think I’ll buy that cock and bull story?

“Draco… Draco… Here you go then.” Sirius released Draco off his chains and gave him his wand.

Draco looked astonished. “Is this some kind of a trick you are pulling off?

“No I swear I’m not. Just here me out first. You are the one with the wand now and I’m as powerless as one could be.”

“Okay, go on then” Draco said still not believing what he was seeing.

Sirius briefed everything he knew to Draco. Draco had never heard anything more strange in his life. But somehow Draco knew Sirius was telling the truth.

“Well what you thought was true. Until now, Sirius Black was Albus Dumbledore’s right hand man and was feared by all by the name Lord Padfoot. Albus Dumbledore himself teaches at Hogwarts, teaching Dark Arts and creating his Army. James Potter, Lord Prongs is his other Leutenant.”

“Wait what?! James is alive? What about Harry Potter? What about Lilly?

“If you mean Lilly Evans, Lilly and Severus Snape are married and are working with us in the rebbellion. As to a Harry Potter, I’m afraid I dunno.”

“Of course there’s no Harry Potter if Snape married Lilly. But carry on Draco”

“Well, Dumbledore and Gridelwald are working for a cause they call ‘for the greater good’. They are going on killing muggles mercilessly and their motive is to have control over muggles. They say that those born with magic are superior to those born without magic thus making muggles slaves of wizards and witches. Tom Riddle is our rebel leader. We are fighting to bring back freedom to everyone, pureblood, halfblood, muggle born, muggle, all of them. But as to what happened to you, I don’t have the slightest idea. There could only be one person who would be able to help you, Nicholas Flamel. And he’s in London these days, I could take you to him. But how are we supposed to get outta here?”

“I’ve got that covered” replied Sirius.

“O fcourse you have.”

Sirius chained Draco back and took his wand. Draco pretended to be exhausted and weak.

“Arthur, I’ll be taking the subject to my place for further interrogation. Prepare a ministry car and I’ll be driving.”

“But my lord…”

“Do you really want to question my order Arthur?”

“I’m sorry my lord. I will arrange”

Sirius and Draco arrived at Flamel’s place.

“Nicholas, I’ve got a visitor for you” Draco called out.

“I know, I saw you coming. You may go now Draco, leave Sirius with me.”

“But are you sure Nicholas?”

“Never been more sure, Draco”

“Hello traveler” spoke to Sirius once Draco had left.

“What did you call me, Sir?”

“You are a Traveler boy, I knew it the instant I saw you. You don’t have to explain who you are, I know what you are. In my 678 years, I’ve seen 3 others like you. Travelers through the ‘Dias of Matter’ at the Department of Mysteries. Generally misunderstood as the ‘Dias of Death’.”

“I don’t quite understand yet Sir.” Sirius spoke puzzled.

“There are 2 kinds of matter in this universe Sirius. The light and the dark matter as we call it. Or matter and anti-matter as some would call it. Nevertheless there are 2 kinds. Each the opposite of other at the most fundamental level, yet same in all other aspects. Thus during the creation of the universe, 2 parallel realities were created. One formed from light matter and another from dark matter. I believe you fell through the dais at the department of mysteries? Didn’t ya?”

“That’s right” Sirius replied.

“That dais is a portal between the parallel realities. You are from the the light matter or matter reality. This is thereby the dark matter or anti-matter reality. That dais is as old as time and posses very old magic in it. There is very few who understand for what it really is, infact I am the one who knows for what it is in this reality”

“Does that mean, I could go back to where I came from, if I went through that dais again” Sirius asked suddenly feeling excited.

“I’m afraid you can’t boy. That dais contains very old magic which transformed you from light to dark matter as you fell through it. In fact it was only your conscience from that reality now has gained the physical form of this reality. The dias doesn’t allow to be used twice. Second time would mean you’d be lost somewhere in space and time forever. So no. If you like it or not boy, your reality is this reality. You must listen to your conscience and do what is right. This is your home now”
