Mark Twain is Samuel Langhorne Clemens’ pen name. He was born in Florida in 1835, on 30th November. He was a journalist, writer, novelist, publisher, humorist, and lecturer. Some of his most famous novels include The Adventure of Tom Sawyer, which he wrote in 1876 and the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn in 1884, which is also known as The Great American Novel.

In 1972, it had declared and officially registered as a National Natural Landmark.

Mark Twain State Park is strategically located close to Mark Twain Lake and is a recreation area lying on 2, 775 acres. Mark Twain Museum
The Mark Twain Museum was the home to him. This renowned author created most his stories while in his home. The museum has been in use since 1912 and later declared as National Historic Landmark in 1962.
